NoWaitDoc Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 29, 2026
This policy explains what information NoWaitDoc collects, why, and how it is handled, for both the clinics (doctors and staff) who use NoWaitDoc and the patients who interact with a clinic through NoWaitDoc's WhatsApp service.
NoWaitDoc is operated by Corvexa Studio ("we," "us," "our"). If you have questions about this policy, contact hello@corvexastudio.com.
1. Who This Policy Covers
- Doctors and clinic staff who create and use a NoWaitDoc dashboard account
- Patients who message a clinic's NoWaitDoc WhatsApp number to book, check status, or get clinic information
Patients do not create a NoWaitDoc account. Interacting with a clinic's WhatsApp number is enough to fall under this policy for the limited data described below.
2. Information We Collect
From doctors and staff
- Name, email address, and phone number
- Clinic name, address, consultation fee, and operating hours
- Login credentials (doctor: email for magic-link sign-in; staff: a PIN specific to that clinic)
- Records of actions taken in the dashboard (queue changes, broadcasts sent), each tied to the account that made them
From patients, via WhatsApp
- Name and phone number, as provided when booking or as recorded by staff for a walk-in
- Appointment and queue history: booking time, token number, cancellation or no-show status, visit count
- The content of messages exchanged with the NoWaitDoc WhatsApp number, to the extent needed to operate the booking and queue service
What we do not collect
- We do not collect or store any medical records, diagnoses, prescriptions, or clinical notes. NoWaitDoc is a booking and queue tool, not a medical records system, and is deliberately built to never expand into one.
- We do not collect payment information. Consultation fees are paid directly at the clinic; no payment details pass through NoWaitDoc.
3. How We Use This Information
- To operate booking, queue management, and status updates over WhatsApp
- To give a doctor visibility into their own clinic's patient volume and trends
- To send appointment confirmations, queue status updates, and, where a patient has opted in, occasional clinic-wide updates such as a closure notice
- To maintain accurate records for billing between a clinic and NoWaitDoc
We do not use patient information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent personal information to any third party.
4. Broadcast Messages and Consent
Clinic-wide updates (for example, an unscheduled closure) are only sent to a patient after they have explicitly opted in to receive them, and only use a small set of fixed, pre-approved message templates. NoWaitDoc does not send promotional or marketing messages to patients, and a clinic cannot use the broadcast feature to send free-form text.
5. Patient Feedback
If a clinic collects post-visit feedback through NoWaitDoc, that feedback is shared privately with the doctor only. It is never automatically published, forwarded to a public review platform, or used to solicit public reviews on a patient's behalf.
6. Who Can See What
- Staff accounts can see the day's queue and add or manage walk-in patients, but cannot access broadcast tools, billing records, or clinic-wide analytics.
- Doctor accounts can see their own clinic's queue, patient list, analytics, and billing history. A doctor cannot see another clinic's data.
- Public displays (such as a "Now Serving" screen at a clinic) show token numbers only. Patient names are never shown on any public-facing display.
- Corvexa Studio staff may access data as needed to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot the service, and will not access it for any other purpose.
7. Data Sharing with Third Parties
NoWaitDoc relies on a small number of service providers to operate:
- Meta Platforms, Inc., which operates the WhatsApp Business Platform used to send and receive messages. Message content passes through Meta's infrastructure and is also subject to WhatsApp's own Business and Privacy Policies.
- Supabase, our database and hosting provider, which stores clinic and patient records securely.
We do not share personal information with any other third party except where required by law.
8. Data Retention
- Active clinics: patient and queue data is retained for as long as the clinic actively uses NoWaitDoc, to support the queue, history, and analytics features the clinic relies on.
- Cancelled clinics: if a doctor discontinues NoWaitDoc, their clinic's data is archived, not deleted, so the account can be reactivated without losing history. Archived data is retained for 24 months from the date of cancellation, after which it is permanently deleted unless the clinic has reactivated.
- A doctor or patient may request earlier deletion of specific records at any time, subject to Section 10 below.
9. Security
We apply reasonable technical safeguards to protect stored data, including role-based access controls so that staff, doctor, and patient data are only accessible to the appropriate account type, and encrypted connections for data in transit. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, and we encourage clinics to use strong, unique PINs and to log out of shared devices.
10. Your Rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, individuals have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about them
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request erasure of their data, subject to any legal or operational retention requirement
- Withdraw consent to receive broadcast messages at any time, by replying to any NoWaitDoc message with a stop/unsubscribe request
To exercise any of these rights, contact hello@corvexastudio.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.
11. Children's Information
NoWaitDoc is intended for use by adult patients or by a parent/guardian booking on behalf of a minor patient. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children through any means other than a parent or guardian's own booking action.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to doctors via the dashboard or email before they take effect. Continued use of NoWaitDoc after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
